Mission Statement

As a Christ-centered fellowship, the mission of SCBC is to worship & glorify our God, to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all, and to build mature believers who serve Christ in the church and the world.

This mission statement flows from our affirmation of the inerrancy, infallibility, and divine inspiration of the Bible (Num. 23:19; Pss. 12:6, 119:89, 96; Prov. 30:5; Matt. 24:35; 2 Tim. 3:14-17) the desire to live the Greatest Commandment (Mt. 22:36-38) and love others (Mt. 22:39-40), and the pursuit to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20).
